| I would like to start a summer reading list. I recently finished Slaughterhouse Five, but I want to compile a list of books to read over the summer.
So I want your recommendations. What books (that you love) should I read?

| So, MEAPs today. This kid needs to be taken down. Really. He needs to be shot. How can an essay as repulsive as that be submitted by someone our own age? "i were surching 4 choicez but none i could find." Give me a break. I think what little faith I had in humanity has all been brutally trampled because I had to read that piece of shit writing sample. Did anyone else find it nearly impossible to point out the positive aspects of this paper? "Uh, yeah.. his format was precise, since it included the introduction, body and conclusion paragraphs.." I guess I shouldn't be complaining, it was ridiculously easy to critique.
The first essay we had to write took me a while to get started. There was a prolonged delay because one) I had a shitty case of writer's block, and two) I was about to fall asleep. I lamented for some time and scared myself into thinking I wouldn't get finished on time because I had spent fifteen minutes on the introduction. Regardless of this unwanted inhibition, I think I constructed a damn good essay. Which! might I add, had a reference to MALCOLM in it (unbeknownst to the evaluators, of course). .. although I lied and basically said Malcolm taught me numerous things I had not known and helped me broaden my beliefs and form my own opinions on things. HAH! Oh well, it sounded fancy.
.. watch me fail, now. | comments: 11 comments or Leave a comment |
